Do you accommodate Hen and Stag parties?

We do not accept Hen or Stag parties, regardless of how well behaved you intend to be. If we suspect you are a Hen or Stag party, we reserve the right to cancel your booking, or not allow you to stay at the hostel when you arrive. Any deposit paid will also be forfeited.

Do you have any facilities for disabled people?

Prime Angel is located in an old, Grade II listed building, with many stairs. Sadly this makes it difficult to navigate for those with a physical disability that limits mobility. But get in touch and discuss your needs, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

What time is check in and check out?

Check in starts at 3pm. Check out is at 11am. You are welcome to use the common areas for longer, but you must vacate your bed and return your linen and key by 11am. Failure to do so might lead to us assuming you want to stay for another night and charging you for it.

Im arriving really late / really early. Will I still be able to check in?

Our Reception is open from 9am to 9pm, 7 days a week.  If you need to arrive or check-out outside of these hours, please discuss and agree it with us in advance.

If you are arriving after Reception closes, we may request full payment in advance when you make your booking.

So that everyone gets some sleep in shared rooms, the latest check-in is midnight.

Facilities

Is breakfast provided?

No, but you can bring your own food and use our very well-equipped kitchen. Otherwise we can advise you where to get the best breakfasts in Angel or Bournemouth. You have help yourself to unlimited tea and coffee all day.

Do you provide towels?

If you would like to rent a towel, you can do so at the hostel Reception. It is only £3 per towel, as long as you return them.

Is there any parking?

In Angel, there is a tiny car-park to the front of the hostel, but this is predominantly for hostel service vehicles. We sometimes allow short term guest parking, and this is charged at £10 per day. There is on-street and secure car-parking nearby, but this is very expensive. The hostel is also on the border of the Congestion Zone, so be careful where you drive if you want to avoid the charge.

Do you host events?

We organise regular events to help you to make friends.

We have ‘Prime Family Dinner’ where someone volunteers to cook something from their home country (or their special dish) for everyone else. Those who want to take part contribute a small amount towards the cost of the ingredients, and then share in the washing up afterwards.

We also have poker nights, beer pong, computer games nights, hula-hoop competitions, film nights, music nights, yoga on the beach in the mornings, and ad hoc English classes.
